Avant garde glass sculptures
Working from within an original Victorian potting shed, Jane Produces unusual glass and mixed media sculptures…
Glass shards and splinters contrast with mirrored stainless steel. Wood and rusted iron are entwined with melted and manipulated glass. A chest freezer acts as a unique lightbox.
The work has an influence from nature, the reoccuring theme of Desire and Denial and a hope to intrigue. An integral part of Janes’ working process is to use her sculptures within photograhs and drawings.

Huxley’s Birds of Prey Centre
An important part of the Centre’s work is the rescue and rehabilitation of wild, injured birds of prey. These are either brought to us by the public, the Police or the RSPCA, or brought to our attention by phone calls from concerned people. Our aim is to return as many to the wild as possible and if this is not possible to give the bird the care that it needs in captivity.

Jungle Queen Toygers
Toygers are a rare breed and Jungle Queen is one of three breeders in this country. Yvonne and Steve came to Pooh House and Gardens on Tigger Sunday with their family (their cat and kittens) from the Midlands, giving visitors the chance to see them close up.
