Background on ticketing
The launch of the Tickets idea for the School Holiday Sundays in 2011 that could be pre-booked with a saving of £2.50 on a family of four one day ticket was extremely popular. Pre-booking enabled the organisers to make best use of resources to plan the day and best organise (hot and cold) refreshments plus arrange various workshops taking place.
Over the School Holiday Sundays last year the Lacemaking, Fairy Workshop, Garden Tours, Wellbeing through Bow-Emm healing and Bonsai talks & displays were very popular, as of course were the little excursions of Tigger and Pooh and friends! Please don’t miss out as numbers are limited and the fun workshops and face painting a must for all visitors (small and large alike!) On the 26th and 27th May Opening our Doctor Simpo! stole the show with art classes and Comedy (see gallery page). Pre book to get more details of the days activities and with a BBQ and home made cakes alongside normal refreshments. There’s no need to rush and you can take as long as you like in the gardens. The colours, specimen plants & Acers will be spectacular especially viewed from the new tree platform, treehouse and Shepherd Hut. Many surprises are afoot for arrivals in our mid August opening and of course a Tiggeriffic welcome (and presents for all little ones) is guaranteed!
